I live with androgenic alopecia. That is not a line in a brand story, it is my Tuesday morning, my summer, my bad hair loss days that are not about hair loss at all but about looking in the mirror and not finding yourself there.

Ascher Beauty started because I needed these wigs before I ever sold them.

Why that matters to you

When you buy a unit from me, you are buying from someone who has worn it. Not photographed it on  a mannequin and moved on, but worn it through a full day, shampooed it, watched how it held up in week three , and noticed how it felt against a scalp that is already sensitive.

So when I recommend to you how often to shampoo, or that you must never let water touch a tangled unit, that is not advice I found somewhere. It is what I learned keeping my own hair beautiful.

I choose units the way I choose for myself, because I usually am.

More than just hair.

Losing your hair is rarely just about hair. It arrives with something quieter underneath, a sense that you no longer look like the person you have always been. I know that feeling, and I know how much it matters to get a piece of yourself back.

This is the whole point of what I do. Not to sell hair, but to hand you back the version of yourself you recognize, so you can stop thinking about your head and go live your day.
